• The meeting was taken forwarded by, Dr. V.R. Ravi, Dean-Academics who delivering the institutional profile and invited the ECE BoS Chairman and Head, Department of ECE - Dr. N. Duraichi to present the proposed ECE Curriculum and syllabi to Experts.
• The ECE BoS Chairman and Head, Department of ECE - Dr. N. Duraichi, presented the salient features of proposed ECE curriculum R2021, Syllabi for the departmental courses offered in Semester II and III and syllabi for the other departmental courses in Semester II and III in detail for the Experts suggestions.
• During the presentation, the Experts had suggested the following listed corrections for the improvement of curriculum / syllabi and upon completion the experts appreciated the proposed curriculum / syllabi.

Head of the Department

^{Hemajothi received her B.E degree in Electronics & Communication Engineering from Mepco Schlenk Engineering College, Sivakasi in the year 1993, M.E., degree in Medical Electronics from College of Engineering, Guindy,Chennai with Distinction, in the year 2007, and PhD., from St.Peter’s University in the year 2013.  Presently she is working as Professor & Head in the department of ECE at Vel Tech High Tech Dr.Rangarajan Dr.Sakunthala Engineering college, Chennai. She is having more than 28 years of teching experience in the reputed Institutions. She has more than 50 research papers in her credit in National and International Journals and Conferences.  She is a Anna University recognized Supervisor for guiding research Scholars. Under her guidance, one scholar has completed his Ph.D recently and the second scholar has submitted his Thesis. Her areas of interest are Bio-Signal processing, Soft computing, Neural Network, Fuzzy Logic and Medical image processing. She is a Doctorate Committee member for scholars doing PhD in the Anna University and Sathyabama University.}

                  ^{She received Gold Medal for getting 100% in Maths (SSLC Exam)–1987. She received Best Teacher Award - 2018 and secured Third Place (Out Of 2128 Nominations from 14 States) in Digiguru-National Teaching Video Contest 2018 Organized By ICT Academy. She received “Best Researcher award in Bio Signal Processing for the year 2019”by International Journal for Research under Literal Access during the great International ceremonial Reception on the honourable day August 15, 2019 at Grandeur Hall, Breeze Residency, Trichy. She received “Bharat Ratna Mother  Teresa Gold Medal award for the year 2019” by Global Economic Progress and Research Association (GEPRA)” in the field of Research. She is a life member of Professional societies IETE & ISTE.}
