The Department of Placement and Training is typically a dedicated department that facilitates the placement of students into jobs or internships upon graduation or completion of their studies. The department is responsible for maintaining relationships with companies and organizations, organizing recruitment drives, coordinating with various departments within the institution to provide training and career development opportunities for students, and ensuring that students have access to resources and support to help them succeed in their chosen careers.

The ultimate goal of the Department of Placement and Training is to ensure that students have access to a range of career opportunities and are well-prepared to enter the workforce upon graduation or completion of their studies.

Internal training programs in college for placements will help students to succeed in their careers. These programs are typically designed to bridge the gap between academic learning and industry requirements, providing students with hands-on experience and exposure to real-world challenges.
