• Dr. E. Kamalanaban, Principal, Vel Tech High Tech, Welcomed the esteemed Board of studies Committee Members and introduced the Subject Experts, Industrial Expert and Meritorious Alumni in the meet.
• The meet was then taken forwarded by Dr. V. R. Ravi, Dean Academics, delivered the Institutional profile and invited Dr.A.Suresh kumar Professor & Head Board of studies Chairman,– Department of MBA to propose the MBA Syllabi to Experts for approval.
• The MBA Board of studies Chairman and Head, Department of MBA - Dr.A.Suresh kumar, proposed the III & IV Semester MBA Syllabus in detail for the Experts’ suggestion and approval.
• On completion, the experts appreciated the proposed syllabi and approved the Syllabus of III Semester and IV Semester Subjects offered by Department of MBA with minor corrections.
• During the presentation , the experts had suggested the following listed correction for the improvement of syllabi and upon completion the experts appreciate the proposed syllabi.

Suggestion made by Experts on MBA Proposed Syllabi - Semester III & Semester IV

• Dr.Raveendranath Nayak- Subject Expert 1:
• In Third Semester, increase the number of specializations
• In Third Semester, Subjects related to the Engineering background students can also be offered with some other new specializations such as Business Analytics, Sector Specialization.
• Dr.N. Thamaraiselvan-Subject Expert 2:
  • o The proposed curriculum is appropriate and the same was appreciated.
• Dr.K. Sampath Kumar - Anna University Nominee:
  • In Third Semester HR Specialization-Industrial Relations and Labour Welfare, Unit III,IV and V have to be updated with the current Labour Legislations Acts and Laws.
  • In Third Semester HR Specialization  like Human Resource Analytics, Marketing Analytics, Business Analytics and Financial Analytics subjects could also be offered.
  • In Third Semester like International Business Management and Strategic Management is offered as a core paper, in HR Specialization Entrepreneurship Development subject can also be offered as General paper in any one of the semester.
  • In Third Semester under Operation Specialization Project Management, CPM and PERT concepts to be excluded by including some other new concepts as it was already been studied in the II Semester Operation Management subject .
  • In Third Semester Finance specialization- Strategic Investment and Financing Decisions, Capital Structure topic can be replaced by other topic as it was already being studied by the students in II Semester Financial Management subject.
• Mrs. Banu Rekha Condur - Industry Expert:
  • In Third Semester , under Market Specialization Cloud-based marketing and App-based marketing could be added in Digital Marketing.

• Ms.N.Sasirega -Meritorious Alumni:
  • In Third Semester, under Marketing Specialization Digital marketing concepts could be explored  in practical aspects.

The Department of Management Sciences made a modest beginning in the year 2008 with an intake of 60. The vision is to provide our budding managers with the best available business models and tools for greater efficiency and productivity in different sectors.  

The Department of MBA has collaborative arrangements with leading business houses and professional associations in Industrial Management and Entrepreneurial Development.  With business education at an inflection point, we strive to equip our future leaders with competence and character to address emerging global business and social challenges. We are strengthening ourselves in education, training, research and Activities Beyond Classroom.

We create an education system that is equitable, inclusive, and focused on the holistic development of the student. The complexity of worldwide markets arising due to Industry 4.0 factors are woven into our curriculum. We aim to equip our students to operate successfully and navigate through the uncertain and ambiguous environment.
